How To Install Gadgets On Ubuntu

Hello Every one if you want to install gadgets on Ubuntu machine like in windows 7 then you came in right place. gadgets give nice look to your desktop. but in Ubuntu widgets are knows as Screenlets. Screenlets as they are for Linux primarily also they are written in python.

Screenlets are small owner-drawn applications (written in Python) that can be described as "the virtual representation of things lying/standing around on your desk". Stick notes, clocks, rulers, ... the possibilities are endless.
The goal of the Screenlets base-classes is to simplify the creation of fully theme able mini-apps that each solve basic desktop-work-related needs and generally improve the usability and eye-candy of the modern composite Linux-desktop.

To install Screenlets in Ubuntu or Linux Mint..

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:screenlets/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install screenlets

To install  all in one pack of screenlets

sudo apt-get install screenlets-pack-all
